In GTA Vice City Stories kan je naast de missies ook verschillende challenges doen. Deze zijmissies start je meestal door in bepaalde geparkeerde voertuigen, die door heel Vice City verspreid staan, te stappen. De challenges moeten allemaal voltooid worden, wil je de 100% behalen. De PS2-versie heeft zes extra zijmissies.
